DESCRIPTION:Liaison Training 101 \nTuesday\, June 20\, 2023 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm \nwith Micol Cottrell\, Minister\, Pastoral Relations\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are each given particular gifts of the Spirit.\nA community of faith\, like any community\, experiences change.\nWhen a minister comes into a community of faith\na covenant is made; a promise to walk together as God’s people\,\nand grow closer to God. God’s covenant with us never changes\,\nbut our covenants with one another do change. \n– adapted from A Song of Faith\, 2006 and the Book of Worship\, United Church of Christ © 1986\n \nLiaison Training 101 is a great refresher for liaisons who have done this work before and a great way for those interested in serving as a liaison to become equipped for this work. This training is your chance to review the duties of a liaison in supporting communities of faith with pastoral relations matters\, including: \n\nsearching for a new minister\,\ncreating a position description\,\nchanges to the terms of a pastoral relationship\,\ncelebrating with the community of faith and more.\n\nWhen you register\, you will receive the Zoom link and materials in preparation for the training to make the most of our time together.
